It all began in 2013 in Yaoundé at the Palais des Sports after a conference on cocoa organized by the Interprofession du Cacao et du Café (CICC). Two young Cameroonian engineers, Hippolyte NOZAWO and Pierre BOYOGUINO, made the alarming observation that although Cameroonian cocoa is highly appreciated by chocolate makers on an international scale, it seems to be mostly destined for export and remains little valued and consumed by Cameroonians themselves. At the end of this exchange, they decided to work to make the local population discover the strong added value that this product represents.
